Meehanite™ has internal lubricating agents providing a smother, friction-free surface on the bed ways. The letter "M" embossed on the side of the lathe bed stands for Meehanite™
Tool rests are made of Meehanite™ cast iron and the tops of the rests are surface-hardened to HRC 60 minimizing dents from turning tools.

Note: This lathe was very lightly used and in excellent condition. The lathe comes with extra
bed extensions, to collectively configure 194" of total bed length. This model ( 962-011 ) the Whole Enchilada, originally came with 132" total bed length. The extra bed sections, was an extra ($900.00) at time of purchase. All accessories shown in photos, and instruction manual included. The lathe is disassembled and palletized for handling. Ready for shipping or pickup. This lathe was over $11,000.00 new.
