Need a Piano Moved? 38 years experience, and we are fully insured.
If a piano is moved in the back of a pickup truck or flatbed trailer, you will RUIN the piano by saturating it with Humidity! When moving grand pianos, if you don't have the proper equipment you'll damage it. A piano CANNOT be moved on the wheels on the piano. These are made just to be able to move the piano out from the wall or a very short distance. We use specially designed piano dollies that will not harm any floor in your home or facility.
When calling, please give the following information so we can give you a price quote:
1. Upright or grand piano? If you have an upright piano, please measure the height. The brand name will also be helpful. If a grand piano, please give brand, and measure the length (from the back round part of the grand, to in front of the keys. Grand pianos are usually 4'5" (53") up to 9' (108"). Most all grands are 55" to 60" wide no matter what the length.
2. number of steps at each location (front steps or steps piano will be moved down). Sidewalk to steps? Can you back a truck to the steps the piano will be loaded from?
3. Hilly or flat terrain at each moving location?
4. Is the piano going in the front room or a location down a hall? If going down a hallway in an older home, the piano may have to be turned on end to make the turn.... we can do this too!
5. First floor?
