condition: excellent
The serial number on this guitar is Z9484136 which means it was made in the USA in 2009. I don’t believe it has been played much at all through the years because I don’t see any wear on the frets or fretboard. I just gave it a once over to make sure everything was set right. I don’t know the brand of strings on it but they are in excellent condition and they are 10 through 48 gauge. I tighten down all the hardware on the guitar. I adjusted the tremolo system properly and achieves drop silence. I adjusted the saddle heights for the best playability and the action is great. I set the intonation properly. I adjusted the neck to the string tension and it is nice and straight. I adjusted the heights of the pick ups so that the volume level of them is the same when switching back-and-forth through them with the volume on 10 in the tones on 5. The electronics work great with no crackling or popping noises when turned. The tuners operate, nice and smoothly. All in all this guitar is in great condition with the exception of one small dent on the front, a little bit of pick scuffing on the body above the pick guard, and on the back it has a couple of small marks. The last picture is just to show the thickness of the tremolo block and the guitar does come with the back cover plate as shown.

The stand is not included in the price, nor is it for sale.

I ALSO DO GUITAR WORK SUCH AS SETUPS AND MINOR REPAIRS.

If your strings are getting old and your guitar needs new ones don't just change them, get a setup! After you get a setup your instrument will be easier to play and sound better.

If you need your strings changed, truss rod adjusted, fretboard cleaned and oiled, frets leveled dressed and polished, intonation set, bridge height adjusted, pick up height adjustment, stripped hardware fixed or replaced, tuners repaired replaced or upgraded, electronics repaired replaced or even nut work done on your acoustic, bass or electric guitar then bring it to me. However, I am not a Luthier and I don’t normally do woodworking, fret replacements or finish repairs. Please read on for prices.

STRING CHANGING
“If you provide the strings.”
If you choose to get your strings changed out, I will still do the same adjustments as listed below in the set ups descriptions. The differences in the price is that it will be $30 less if I don’t clean and oil your fretboard.

BASIC SETUP
THIS IS FOR A GUITAR THAT HAS A FIXED BRIDGE WITH NO INTONATION OR HEIGHT ADJUSTMENTS SUCH AS A ACOUSTICS.
$40
“If you provide the strings.”
A basic setup consists of:
1. Cleaning and oiling fret board.
2. Oiling the tuners if needed.
3. Replacing the strings.
4. Adjusting neck tension.
5. Tightening all screws and repairing any stripped holes.
6. Cleaning and wiping down the whole guitar.

SETUP WITH A FIXED BRIDGE THAT HAS INTONATION AND HEIGHT ADJUSTMENTS SUCH AS A TUNE-O-MATIC OR STRING THROUGH BODY DESIGN.
$50
“If you provide the strings.”
Consists of a BASIC SETUP plus.
1. Setting the intonation.
2. Adjusting the bridge height for easier playing action.
3. Adjusting the pick up heights for proper volume control when switching from one to another.

SETUP WITH A NON FLOATING VIBRATO SUCH AS A BIGSBY OR FENDER SYNCHRONIZED
$60
“If you provide the strings.”
Consists of a BASIC SETUP plus.
1. Setting the intonation.
2. Adjusting the bridge height and level.
“There will be a additional $5 charge for each spring if replaced or added.”
3. Adjusting the pick up heights for proper volume control when switching from one to another.

SETUP WITH A FLOATING OR LOCKING VIBRATO SUCH AS A FLOYD ROSE OR KAHLER
$70
“If you provide the strings.”
Consists of the same things as a set up with the previously mentioned Non Floating Vibrato.

ALLOWED TIME
For a full set up it usually takes about 4 hours due to the wait times of fret board conditioning. In order to do a thorough job I prefer to keep the instrument for at least 24 hours which allows me the proper amount of time to keep tweaking the guitar adjustments for the best outcome.

I'm available most days of the week from 9 am to 9 pm to include weekends.

NUT WORK
The prices listed are general because there are several ways how nuts are mounted to guitars. Each different way can affect the pricing. So the prices that I have listed for the nut explained in the first type.
1. The nut that is glued into place at the end of the fret board it usually is easily removed by scoring the ends and tapping it out of place. It can be shimmed to raise the actions.
2. The nut that is imbedded into the fretboard and usually breaks when it is removed. This can be slightly shimmed and usually needs replacing if the action is too low.
3. The nut that is imbedded between the fretboard and the wood on the headstock and has to be cut in two in order to remove it. This type of nut can have the action lowered by filing the string slots, but if the action is too low, the nut has to be replaced.
4. The locking nut system, which is usually screwed to the guitar neck and can be easily removed. These nuts are usually made of metal and if worn out need to be replaced. However, they are easily shimmed in order to raise the action.
If you are getting the nut work while having a set up done, there is a $10 discount
If the nut needs replacing, I can do all the measuring and the ordering for the new nut for $20
