I recently had my daughter's automobile repaired by this repair shop and due to some false information provided by her I was concerned about the service/price. After speaking with many Mechanics I discovered that not only did Ridlon's take very good care of her automobile but they provided me a lower fee/cost than I would have gotten anywhere. Ridlon's also provided me door to door service within 24 hours of the needed repair because I had no way to get the car to them. Ridlon's found other problems with the car and even though we only wanted to place a bandaid on the problems to pass inspection he looked out for our safety and urged my daughter to make one other necessary repair that would make a world of difference in the functioning of the vehicle. My daughter didn't provide me accurate information about her vehicle but Ridlon's sent me a detailed email providing me a list of the services provided, his credentials and explained additional repairs needed. Ridlons' mechanic not only did this but went out of his way to assure that my own vehicle was being maintained. I felt comfortable with this Mechanic and would and will recommend him to all of my friends for auto repairs. By the way ladies unlike most shops he returns all old parts to you tp assure you that new products were placed on your car so none of that clean the part and put it back on the car. I had my daughter's car repaired by this individual and the cost of the repair was double that of a Auto Dealership. He charged $40 to plug a tire and simply rotated one tire to another part of the car without really replacing the tire. Additionally upon pick up of the keys the Mechanic charged an additional $25 after charging $180 for labor of a tune up (spark plugs and wires) and replacement of a box that causes the turn signals to work (cost of $25 at the junk yard). I had no idea that this repair was so costly until I discovered how much money my daughter had spent. These repairs were done when the Mechanic knew that the first step was to change/replace the catalytic converter which he did not do. He advised me for an additional $50 of labor charge he could replace the catalytic converter (junk yard cost $50) total repair $100.00. Nonetheless the total cost of the tune up and replacement of the signal box is $340.00. My daughter was ripped off and I am so sad as this was her first experience with auto repair. Do not use this Mechanic!!!
